NSYSU Institute of Public Affairs Management assisted the Kaohsiung City Government in promoting the “Community Time Bank” in Zhuxi Village, Cianjhen District.

The initiative aims to issue a new form of currency called “Minute Vouchers” for trade and encourage residents to provide their expertise in helping the community, receiving “Minute Vouchers” as compensation for their services.

With the help of the Institute of Public Affairs Management, community workshops and business operation simulations were organized to facilitate the inclusion of public services into the trade system and the establishment of “time stores and markets.” The initiative invited international organizations to share their experiences in establishing service exchanges and circulating goods within communities and to connect emotionally with residents.
