The project team promotes food-cherishing courses in local elementary schools to advocate for food conservation.
It cooperates with local communities to donate surplus food to local religious centers for distribution, encouraging the public to donate surplus food and ingredients in their homes to underprivileged groups. The NSYSU also partnered with “A-Fu Food Bank” to set up a food-cherishing refrigerator in the NSYSU Cijin Social Development Base and design the “Happy Passbook” mechanism.
The team jointly established the “Food-Cherishing Kitchen” with community residents to collect and share food resources and train women from underprivileged households in the community, thereby forming shared economy among underprivileged communities to help them achieve financial independence.
